What began with a borrowed pressure washer, an aging Ford Ranger and a homemade trailer became a professional exterior-cleaning company built around attention to detail and doing what is right.
A borrowed pressure washer and a promise.
Rich Kelley started Under Pressure Home and Driveway Power Washing in 2012 with a 15-year-old Ford Ranger with no air conditioning, a homemade wood-sided trailer, and his parents’ old pressure washer. Their only condition was simple: they would always have a clean house.
After serving in the U.S. Navy and working in management for US Airways and for the State of Florida, Rich wanted something more independent. He built the company one house, driveway and honest day’s work at a time— sometimes clearing the trailer to haul mulch or gravel for landscaping work.
The first major turning point came about three years later, when Under Pressure earned a contract cleaning 65 grocery stores from Jacksonville to Tallahassee and south to Lakeland. The nighttime work was demanding, but it gave the young company the momentum to lease its first warehouse and office.
Today, Under Pressure uses professional-grade equipment and refined, surface-specific procedures. Services have expanded to include roof cleaning and brick-paver sanding and sealing across Ocala, Marion County, surrounding counties, The Villages and Central Florida.

Rich remains involved every day. When you call, you will probably speak with him—and when he isn’t in the office or warehouse, he is often in the field cleaning alongside the crew.
