More than a coat of sealer

The finish is only as good as the work underneath it.

Paver restoration is a connected system. The surface must be clean, damaged or incompatible coatings must be identified, and the joints need the right sand at the right level before a sealer is applied.

We choose the product after looking at the paver, traffic, drainage, existing finish and the appearance you want. That preparation helps avoid cloudy coatings, uneven sheen, trapped contamination and weak joints.

Our restoration sequence

Five deliberate steps.
One complete system.

Weather and surface conditions can change the timeline. We schedule each phase around the requirements of the selected product—not a rushed template.

01

Inspect

We check the paver type, joint depth, drainage, stains, repairs and any existing coating before recommending a system.

02

Deep clean

The surface is cleaned and rinsed so dirt, organic growth and loose material do not become trapped beneath the finish.

03

Re-sand

Clean, correctly graded joint sand is installed to the proper level and settled into the joints before sealing.

04

Seal

We apply the selected professional system for joint stabilization, color enhancement and surface protection.

05

Cure

We provide a project-specific return-to-use schedule based on the product, weather, surface and traffic demands.

Driveways, patios & pool areas

Bring definition back to the entire hardscape.

Joint lines, color and sheen all influence how finished pavers read from the curb or across an outdoor living space.

Choose the appearance

A finish that fits the property.

Final appearance varies with paver color, porosity, condition and product. We recommend a test area before full application.

01

Natural

Low sheen with restrained color change for owners who want the pavers to look refreshed, not coated.

02

Semi-gloss

Controlled sheen and noticeable color enhancement without moving all the way to a high-gloss finish.

03

Wet look

Deeper color and a more pronounced gloss for compatible pavers and customers who want a bolder finish.

Professional product systems

We select the system. Your pavers set the requirements.

Under Pressure works with established professional systems from Innovative Concrete Technology, Trident and Seal ’n Lock. We do not force every driveway, patio and pool deck into the same product or finish.

  • Surface and existing-coating compatibility
  • Joint-stabilization needs
  • Desired color enhancement and sheen
  • Traffic, exposure and maintenance expectations

Straight answers

What to know before sealing.

Every surface is different. These are the expectations we set before we begin.

Will sealing stop weeds from growing between my pavers?+

Joint stabilization can reduce sand washout and make the joints less inviting to weeds and insects, but it is not a permanent weed barrier. Windblown soil, organic debris and Florida growing conditions still matter.

Do pavers have to look glossy after sealing?+

No. Depending on the paver, condition and product compatibility, we can discuss a more natural appearance, a controlled semi-gloss or a deeper wet-look finish. A test area is the best way to confirm the look.

Can you seal over an old sealer?+

Sometimes an existing coating is compatible, and sometimes it must be removed. We inspect and test first because coating over a failing or incompatible sealer can trap moisture or create adhesion and appearance problems.

How soon can I walk or drive on the pavers?+

Cure time varies by product, temperature, humidity and site conditions. We give you written job-specific instructions; vehicle traffic commonly requires more time than light foot traffic.

Will sealed pavers be slippery?+

Any coating can change surface traction, especially when wet. We evaluate the location and finish, test when appropriate and can recommend a traction additive for suitable film-forming systems.
